Belthangady: A case of POCSO has been filed against 17-year-old boy. He has been booked under Sections 376, 506 of IPC, and 5 (L), 6 of the POCSO Act.
The victim pursuing her 10th standard and the accused fell in love with each other a year ago through social media.
The duo were messaging over the phone. He was forcing the victim that he will visit her residence. On the fateful day, he told her that he would visit her residence at night and she should open the door while threatening that he would create a scene of she did not open the door. The accused went near the residence of the victim at midnight and asked her to open the door. The victim opened the door out of fear and took him to her room. She was sexually assaulted despite her resistance and threatened her not to tell anyone. This continued four to five times. Finally it was Friday September 2 he forced himself on her.
