Belthangadi : An accident occurred between two bikes and one person died on the spot near a mosque on Savanalu Road in Belthangadi on March 30.
Henry D’Souza (62), a resident of Kurdalabettu in Aladangadi, died on the spot.
Another bike rider, Karunakara Hegde (60), a resident of Karambaru in Belthangadi taluk, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Guruwayanakere private hospital for treatment.
Deceased Henry D’Souza was the former secretary of Aladangadi H.U.S Sangh.
Sub-Inspector Santosh and Sibandi of Belthangadi Traffic Police Station visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
