Mundaje: An incident was reported on March 12, when a woman who went to work as a laborer collapsed and fell unconscious.
Pavathi (55), a resident of Sanyasikatte of Mundaje village, died in this accident. She had gone to the house of Somanthadka Ganesh of Mundaje village saying that she was going to work as a laborer. While working there, she collapsed and lost consciousness in the evening. She was taken care of and immediately taken to Kakkinje Hospital for treatment, but the doctors there examined her and treated her but she did not respond to treatment, so she was taken to a private hospital in Ujire. As advised by the doctor there, she was immediately taken to Mangalore District Wenlock Hospital, where doctors examined him and treated her, but she died in the hospital. A case has been registered in Dharmasthala police station as per the complaint filed by daughter Pushpa.
