Mumbai: Our Government is giving big projects to the Coastal Districts and the Jayasree Krishna Parisara Premi Samiti is fully encouraged in the establishment of new industries without any big package and without pollution. This will lead to the development of the Districts and provide employment opportunities to the educated youth of our Districts. The Districts have developed due to the struggle of the Committee and industries from across the country and abroad are entering the district, said President of the Jayashree Krishna Parisara-Premi Samiti L. V. Amin.
He was presiding over the 23rd Annual General Meeting at Bunts Association Annexe Auditorium on Monday September 5.
Committee Founder Thonse Jayakrishna A. Shetty said, “We have implemented all the projects in an efficient manner by addressing issues that could not have been faced during the tenure of all previous presidents. Right now big projects have been undertaken during L. V. Amin’s time. We are fighting for the construction of electric and gas crematoriums across the country and we have contacted Ministers and officials. If there is a pro-industrial wave is coming to Balkunje, e are going to support it and we will organise a meeting on this issue. We are ready to support the Government if the demands of the villagers are handled responsibly. The Government has responded to a request to name the airport in Mangaluru after George Fernandes. The Government has promised to provide land near his native place for the construction of George Fernandes Circle in the District. The Government has said that the committee should bear the cost of constructing the circle with the new design. We have succeeded in contacting the Industries Minister and bringing a non-maligned multi-national company to the District,” he said.
