Belthangady: Renowned psychologist Dr. G. Ramesh Upadhyay (68), a resident of Ujire Ramakrishna Nagar, died. Died of heart attack at home on 19th. He is survived by his wife Smt Padma, daughters Vani and Rashmi, extended family and relatives.
Dr. Ramesh Upadhyay served as a Psychiatrist in District Government Mental Hospital, Dharwad for more than 30 years and retired to Ujire.
Shri Dharmasthala Manju served as a Psychologist for 2 years in Postgraduate Center of Natheswara College. He served as a psychologist in the Govt. Mentally Handicapped School, Hubli. Apart from writing 3 books, he also gave special lectures on children’s health in radio talks.
