Patrame: Two young women from a neighboring house, who were admitted to Narali Hospital due to stomach ache, died in the hospital after the treatment was ineffective, reported on A.6.
Rakshita (22 years old), daughter of Pattur Babu of Patrame village, died in the Mangalore private hospital early today, while Lavanya (21 years old), daughter of her relative Srinivasa Acharya, died in the Suratkal hospital in the afternoon. Both of them have been working as service representatives for some time.
On the evening of A. 4, Rakshita and Lavanya were seriously ill after complaining of stomach ache at their house. Both of them were admitted to Nelyadi Hospital for treatment with the help of locals. Rakshita was admitted to Mangalore Hospital by her family for further treatment. Lavanya was taken to Puttur Hospital by her family and was admitted to Suratkal Hospital on the advice of Avalli’s doctor. But it is said that Rakshita died in the hospital early this morning while Lavanya died in the Suratkal hospital this afternoon. Both of them have a neighboring house in Pattur. The cause of his death is not clear. We need to know about this only after receiving the medical report. Whether these two committed suicide, or something else happened, the police investigation needs to come to light. The Dharmasthala police are investigating the matter.
