116th Birth Anniversary of Dr.Babu Jagjivanaram

Belthangadi: The 116th birth anniversary of Dr. Babu Jagjivanaram, the pioneer of green revolution, was celebrated at Belthangadi Mini Methodist Hall on A.5. Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Kusumadhar inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Town Panchayat Chief Nataraj, Social Welfare Department Assistant Director Hemachandra, Taluk office officials were present. Pawadappa Doddamani Revenue Inspector spoke about the life history and ideals of Babu Jagjivana Ram.Mrs. Hemalatha welcomed and presented the program. Mrs. Tarakesari Akshar Dasoha Assistant Director thanked.
