Beltangady: ‘Blood donation is a life-saving act of life. A healthy person should do the noble act of donating blood,’ said former MLA K. Vasantha Bangera.
On the occasion of his 78th birthday, he inaugurated a massive blood donation camp organized by Dakshina Kannada District Cooperative Hospital and Medical Education and Research Society (R) Mangalore, Red Society Belthangadi and Sri Gurudeva Education Trust (R) Belthangadi.
‘Blood is impossible to make artificially in this nature. Donating blood to a person is equivalent to donating our life. Although it is impossible for us to donate property wealth, everyone should keep the determination to donate blood throughout their life’, he said.
Belthangadi Best Foundation President Rakshit Shivaram himself donated blood and said, ‘Vasant Bangera is the asset of the entire society. He is an inspirational personality for all. His fans are celebrating his birthday through a blood donation camp, he said.
