Belthangadi: A boy from Chitradurga, who had come to his grandmother’s house for a holiday, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fang in a government hostel room on A.28 when no one was at home.Shivprasad (14), son of Ramesh and Bhagyamma of New Elnad in Hiriyur taluk of Chitradurga district, committed suicide.
His great-grandmother, who was serving as a second grade assistant in the Beltangadi Education Department, T.P. He lived in a nearby government hostel. Shivprasad had come here last ten days. A. On 28th, when no one was at home, he hanged himself in the room of the hostel.
Belthangadi immediately informed the police, the police came to the spot and checked and informed the parents of the deceased boy.
Deceased Shivprasad’s parents were both wage laborers and he had passed 9th standard from Hosela Nadu Public School, Chitradurga. Deceased Shivprasad’s father, mother,He is survived by two elder brothers and a younger sister.
It is to be known after the police investigation as to why he committed suicide.
