Beltangadi : The normal rain that fell on Tuesday eased the people of the villages like Mundaje, Laila, Didupe, Nada, Kalmanja, Chibidre, Charmadi, Kadirudyavar of Belthangadi taluk who were suffering from the scorching sun for the past several days.
The rain started around 5 pm and continued for about half an hour. In some remaining villages, it rained.
On 7th, there was good rain with wind and hail in many parts of the taluk. After 18 days, it rained again on Tuesday.
Water problem has already been found in many parts of the taluk and the people have been facing problems. As the river and lake have dried up, irrigation system is not available in many agricultural fields. The rain that fell in some places on Tuesday brought some relief to the people.
