Belthangadi: A lorry collided with a bike and was seriously injured in an accident Bike rider Belthangadi Private Service Assistant Guruwayanakere resident of Shaktinagar Prasad Shetty (27) died. Co-rider is private Saveyar Vishwanath Rao was seriously injured and admitted to a private hospital in Ujire.The accident took place while excavation work was being carried out at Mundruppadi near Dharmasthala.
A lorry collided with a bike in Mundrupadi and the two people on the bike were thrown on the road and got serious injuries and were immediately admitted to a private hospital in Ujire. Meanwhile, the bike rider, Prasad Shetty, a resident of Guruvayanakere, died, while his co-rider Vishwanath was seriously injured and admitted to the hospital.The Belthangadi traffic police have come to the spot and are investigating.
