Beltangady: The fire that was found in Mundaje-Dharmasthal reserve forest area, Nertane, Kotihittilu, Mundrupadi, Ikkela, etc. has spread to the forests of Pilatadka, Kombinadka environment and the forest department staff and locals are struggling to bring it under control.
In an area of more than 50 acres, straw, straw and dry trees have caught fire and the fire is spreading further and there is a possibility of causing more damage. The operation to bring the fire under control is going on for the last three days, but the fire is not fully under control. While the fire is being extinguished on one side, fire is found on the other side and the operation is getting complicated. The operation was carried out without proper water and food amid the heat of the fire, extreme heat, and extreme weather.

More than 20 people are involved in the fire fighting operation.The same team extinguished the fire caused by sparks from the transformer near Kombinadka School.
It is said that the fire that was found in the forest of Belalu environment has been brought under control.
