Belthangadi: Belthangadi BJP candidate, MLA Harish Poonja started a public campaign meeting in the wake of the Vidhan Sabha elections and participated in the first public campaign meeting held in Padangadi on May 1.
Kota Srinivasa Pujari, Minister of Social Welfare Department, said in the public meeting that Belthangadi Constituency now stands as a model for the state. A great development has taken place. The people of the constituency called for Harish Poonja to win again to increase the speed of development in Belthangadi.MLA Harish Poonja said that the development works undertaken in the constituency and the achievements of the BJP government should be presented to the people and requested to be given another opportunity to serve the people of the constituency.
Mandal BJP president Jayant Kotyan, candidate Pramukh Jayanand Gowda, former mandal president Kushalappa Gowda, mandal office bearers, local people’s representatives and a large number of workers were present in the meeting.
Later, a large number of people were present at the public campaign meeting held at Venur and Naravi. Harish Poonja opined that BJP is predicted to win by a record margin.
A campaign meeting was held for BJP candidate MLA Harish Poonja on May 2 in Hatyadka of Neria, Kokkada, Arasinamakki. Thousands of workers and locals participated and expressed their appreciation.
