Ujire: It is known that the fire broke out in the forest area near Aladangadi Urjalubetta, Didupe in Kudremukh National Park and destroyed tens of acres of forest on Monday and Tuesday.
It is reported that there was no major disaster as the fire also broke out in the Annappa Betta area of Charmadi Ghati, a buffer land near the forest area of Charmadi Parlani area and was brought under control immediately.
In Aladangadi area, the team of Forest Department including Beltangadi Wildlife Division continued the fire extinguishing work till late Tuesday night.
