Venur: Today, a car and an auto rickshaw collided head on near the Venur-Moodbidire state highway near Perinje Bandasale and five people including the driver of the rickshaw were seriously injured.
It is said that the auto rickshaw (KA 20, AA7956) was coming towards Venur from Moodbidire when it collided with a car coming from Venur near Perinje Bandasale. As a result of the collision, the car and the auto rickshaw overturned and were crushed. The rickshaw driver and the woman and three children who were traveling in it were seriously injured and were shifted to a private hospital in Moodbidiri. It has been learned that the condition of a boy is critical. It is said that three people including the driver were traveling in the car and there were no injuries.
