A jatha was held from Uppinangadi Government First Class College to Uppinangadi Bus Stand with a banner of voting awareness along with a ball, horn, instrument and chanting. Hundreds of students and members of the public participated in the rally shouting slogans like “Our vote is our right”, “Conscious voter is the leader of a strong democracy”, “Vote and become aware”, “Your vote is the choice of a safe government”. Later a street play was performed. The public at the bus stand witnessed this. T.P. Executive Officer Naveen Bhandari preached the oath.
