Beltangady: Some parts of Belthangadi taluk including Mundaje, Totattadi, Nada, Laila, Ujire, Kalmanja villages received good rain from Wednesday morning till 9 am. Thunder and lightening started from 2 am and it rained well by 5 am. After raining for more than half an hour, the rain continued normally from 7 to 9 am. 2020, 2021, 2022 Belthangadi taluk had continuously rained after the rain started in March. Due to this, there was no water problem in the taluk.
There is no rain in the forest fire area
The villages like Shishila, Shibaje Charmadi, Malavanti had recently been under control due to forest fire, smoke is still visible in the hills. It has not rained in these areas. Rainfall in these environments would have helped the forest fires to gain full control
