Belthangadi: Aditya Narayan Kollaje, the young leader of farmers’ union will contest from Belthangadi Legislative Assembly constituency from Sarvodaya Karnataka Party, said Ravi Kiran Poonacha, General Secretary of Karnataka State Farmers’ Association.
He spoke at a press conference called at Ambedkar Bhavan on February 10.

Sarvodaya Karnataka Party is entering politics again with strong support. Candidates have already been selected for 5 constituencies including Belthangadi, Melukote, Mandya Virajpet, Belagi. Oswald Prakash Fernandes, district president of the Farmers’ Union, spoke against the government on February 16 regarding the various hardships caused to farmers by amending the Land Reform Act. He said that a massive protest will be held at Bengaluru Predom Park on behalf of the Karnataka State Farmers Association for the demands of the farmers. District General Secretary Premanatha Shetty spoke on February 13 in Mandya, Vishwa Raitha Chetana Prof. M. D. Nanjunda Swami’s memory day celebration and naming of the road and circle, driving ceremony of the youth farmer unit will be held, he said.
Sarvodaya Karnataka Party candidate District Farmer Youth Unit President Aditya Narayan Kollaje said that he will contest to provide corruption-free administration, women empowerment, allocation of tax money for common people for real programs, pension scheme for construction workers, job creation etc. Honorary President of District Youth Unit Surendra Korya and other members of farmers association were present in the press conference.
