Belthangadi: MLA Harish Poonja has allocated Rs. 1.50 crore has been provided as a grant, for which The preliminary meeting of the foundation stone laying program held on On 5th at Belthangadi Seva Sangh Hall.
Harish Karinja, President of Taluk Mulliyar Yane Kumbarara Seva Sangh, said that MLA Harish Poonjaru has provided a huge amount of grant for the construction of the Community Hall. He said that he would congratulate on behalf of the community. The foundation stone laying will be held on the 19th at 11.30 am and he requested at least 5000 brothers and sisters to attend the event. He informed that the program will be attended by Manila Yathivaris, MLAs Harish Poonja, Annayya Kulal Ulthur, Mayur Ullal, MLAs of Beltangady Vidhan Parishad, Vithala Kaniyuru Dota of Bangalore Kulala Sangh, community leaders, local people’s representatives, and other dignitaries.
Somayya Mulya Hanainade, the chairman of the building construction committee, said that there is still a need for subsidy for the building site, and the relatives of every household in the taluk should cooperate. He said that the new community building is like a crown for the community of the taluk.
