Belthangadi: MLA Harish Poonja said that the work of raising awareness among dairy farmers and farmers about domestic cattle through Goshala and encouraging them to raise them has been going on for the past 3 years on behalf of Swami Sri Vivekananda Sevashram Trust in Kalenja Kayartadka. Vani drove from Halekote near Halekote to the cow grass donation given by the villages of the taluk. This is a memorable program in history. The people of the taluk should participate in order to successfully conduct Gograsa from 81 villages of the taluk. Nandagokula Dipotsava along with mass gopuja wished Nandadeep to be known for animal husbandry.
Nandagokul Dipotsava Organizing Committee Chairman Pooran Verma, Trust Chairman Dr MM Dayakar, N. Pt. President Rajani Kudwa, prominent Padmanabha Shettigar, Sitarama Belalu, Bhaskar Dharmasthala, Subrahmanya Kumar Agartha, Naveen Neriya, Aravinda Karanth were present. In 35 vehicles, many agricultural products including cowpea, nut, rice and banana were dedicated. Naravi, Aladangadi, Kuvettu Kaniyur Mahashakti Kendra, Lala Mahashakti Kendra, Ujire Mahashakti Kendra, Dharmasthala,Cowgrass was collected from other places including Kokkada, Shishila, Kalenja. Mass Gopuja, Gonandarati and Dipotsava will be celebrated on December 25th in the evening. President of the trust Dr. Dr. MM Dayakar said.
