He spoke at a press conference called by community leaders of Malekudia on Friday in Beltangadi. The way the MLAs behaved with Jayananda, a young man of the community, makes the representatives of the people lower their heads. They say that such behavior is not acceptable to anyone. They are doing politics to lure the MLAs. It is not right to bring politics in the matter of the deity built by the community. He said that he will support the struggle on behalf of the community of Malekudi on behalf of the privileged and on behalf of those who have suffered injustice.
Speaking at the press conference, the community leader, former taluk panchayat member Jayarama A.K, said that although the department has not yet taken any action despite complaining about the insult to Jayananda Pililala, he said that in the coming days, he will protest under the leadership of like-minded organizations.
The district president of Malekudiara Sangh said that we have not misused the name of Malekudiara Sangh anywhere, everyone has supported our non-partisan struggle. Harish Elaniru is making such a statement with the intention of protecting the interests of the MLAs. When the taluk secretary of the association, Jayananda, kept silent when there was a protest against the legislators, the district president called an urgent press conference, he should clarify whether the existence of the Malekudi association is for the protection of the interests of the malekudi community or for the welfare of the legislators.
He said that it is not right for the MLAs to form the Brahma Kalash Committee by playing politics in the Bairava Stone, which is worshiped by the Malekudis, and excluding the community leaders.He demanded that the MLAs should not provide basic facilities to several areas where the Malekudi community resides, the schemes sanctioned for tribals have been misused in many places and the district president of the association should pay attention to this and talk about it.
