Belthangadi : MLA Harish Poonja said that if there is any constituency where development of three and a half thousand crores has taken place today without wasting a single vote of the electorate of the constituency by coming out of the ideology of politics and leading a simple life, it is Belthangadi taluk.
Bharatiya Janata Party Belthangadi Mandal inaugurated the development festival of Nada Kanyadi village under the Nada Panchayat at Surya Temple Anantaratna Sabhabhavan on March 10.We have done in four years what could not be done in the past 75 years in Belthangadi taluk in terms of development. He said that the road connecting from Keltaje to Ujire will be upgraded to a five and a half meter road as per Nada Kanyadi.
Mandal president Jayant Kotyan said that the development work which had not happened in the last five decades in Belthangadi constituency was seen under the leadership of MLA Harish Poonja. 32.90 crore for the development of Nada-Kanyadi Shakti Kendra. Grant has been provided, he said.

32 Kindi Dam has been constructed for the water shelter of Belthangadi Taluk. For power relief, tender is in process for implementation of 110 sub-station on 12 acres in Kutlur, 110 sub-station on 5 acres in Kakkinje. MLA Harish Poonja said that there will be no power cut problem for the next fifty years.
