Pre-election mustering Ujire S.D.M.P.P.P. Strong room in college

Belthangadi, May 10: On the occasion of the general election to be held today in the 200-Beltangadi Assembly Constituency on May 9, the SDM of Ujire. BC The mustering process took place in the well-equipped strong room of the college.

Election tools were distributed to 241 polling staff of the taluk.After reaching the mustering center at 5.30 am, the strong room was opened at 8 am in the presence of Election Officer and Assistant Election Officer. 27 sector officials checked and documented the tools given to the polling staff in a total of 25 rooms. If a problem was found, the problem was solved on the spot.

Highly sensitive polling stations
Out of 241 booths in the taluk, 32 are sensitive polling booths where sensitive observers have been appointed. Video and photography have been arranged at every place. There are a total of 1156 personnel and 1 PRO, 1 APRO, 2 PO, 1 D Group, 1 Policeman are in the team for each booth. 192 additional staff were kept. After breakfast and lunch, they proceeded to their respective polling booths with the voting machines..

Electoral Officer Yogesh H.R., Assistant Electoral Officer Suresh T., Master Trainer Dharanendra Kumar, Model Code of Conduct Nodal Officer Kusumadhar B, Sector Officer Nataraj and Election Branch Sibandi managed to conduct the process smoothly. Dr. Saroj Kumar visited and inspected the de-mustering process as General Election Observer. Health department officials cooperated.

 

Reserved as special polling booths
Polling Station No

13 polling booths have been identified as special polling booths in the taluk. Booth No. 164 S.D.M.A.H.P.School Ujire (Yakshagana), Booth No. 935 S.H.P.School Machina (Kambala), Booth 120 D.G.P.H.P.School Padangadi ( Fishing), Booth 131 Vidyodaya A.H.Pro.School Venur (Traditional), Booth 114 D.K.G.P.H.P.H.P. School Pilichandikallu (Green), Booth 63 D.J.P.H.P. School Peradittayakatte (Traditional), Booth 98 Ujire S.D.M. A. School (Youth), Booth 68 Karnodi Laila (Sakhi), Booth 4 Naravi D.K.G.P.Hi.P.School (Sakhi), Booth 24 Charmadi Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra (Sakhi), Booth 152 D. K.G.P.H.P.School Gerukatte (Sakhi), Booth 189 KPS Poonjalakattee(Sakhi), Booth 236 D.K.G.P.H.P.School (Disabled) specially decorated.

Vehicle system
Appropriate vehicle facilities were provided for the officers and staff going to the polling stations from the mustering center. 70 vehicles including 33 buses, 22 jeeps, 15 maxicabs, additionally 3 buses, 2 jeeps, 2 maxicabs were deployed.

Police Bandobast
Police presence along with polling officers was provided for peaceful polling and fearless polling in the taluk.

Police deployment
241 booths of the taluk have been provided with adequate facilities for peaceful and fearless polling. Already one DSP, CPI, PSI, ASI, HC, PC, Homeguards are assigned to respective booths respectively. Paramilitary force has been deployed in 64 polling booths including sensitive and ultra sensitive.
