Beltangady; In the backdrop of BJP and Congress party candidates filing their nomination papers on A.17 for the assembly elections, route changes have been made in Belthangadi city. The District Collector has issued an order.
On A. 17, from 9 am to 5 pm, all the vehicles traveling on the national highway passing through Belthangadi town have been directed to move through Koyuru cross road to Parappu junction towards Mangalore and the vehicles coming from Mangalore to Ujire to travel through Uppinangadi road at Parappu cross through Adruperal.
The Collector has also suggested to install necessary signboards on this road.
