Thousands of fishes died as a result of vermin poisoning rever

Belthangadi: Residents are worried because of an inhumane incident that has poisoned the drinking water source of the town.

Thousands of fishes have died as a result of vermin poisoning the Somavati river flowing near the town.The incident was reported in the early hours of this morning and thousands of fish died as a result of the poisoning of the unit in the river which was supplying water to the town.

The town currently requires 10 lakh liters of water per day. Water was supplied through dams. But water supply has been stopped due to poisoning.This type of act was carried out in the same place three years ago. A case was registered against him. Now the town panchayat has decided to file a complaint against the act at the Belthangadi police station.

In the situation where the water in the river is drying up and there is a shortage of drinking water, a lot of resentment has been expressed by the people against those who have committed such an act.
