25th Kannada Literary Conference held at Ujire

Belthangady: “Kannada is a great language, save it, grow it, spread it, and let the conference help to raise its vibration to a higher level. Let the message of the Sahitya Sammelana, which is giving an introduction to Kannada to every person and encouragement to literature lovers, spread everywhere,” said Dacca District Collector Ravikumar M.R. Ravikumar.

He was speaking at Ujire on Friday while hoisting the national flag of the District 25th Kannada Literary Conference.

With the blessings of Dr. D. Virendra Heggade, this program will be successful and has good hopes. Necessary cooperation will be given to the conference from the district administration,” he said.

Ujire Gram President Pushpavati R. Shetty hoisted the flag of the conference, Kasapa District President Dr. M. P. Srinath Parishad, Sharath Krishna Paduvetnaya, Chairman of the Coordination Committee, Rajeshwari M., Honorary Secretary of Zilla Sahitya Parishad and the president of the taluk unit, Yadupathi Gowda, and the moderator of various committees were present.

Dr. B. A. Kumar Hegde, Dr. Bhaskar Hegde, Dr. Divakokkada, Gangarani Joshi, Yatish Kumar, Dr. B. Rajesh, Dr. Prasanna Kumar Aital, Gopalkrishna Kanchodu, Harsha Kumar K., Ramachandra Shetty, Jagannath Shetty, Thangachan and others were also present.

General Secretary of the conference Ramakrishna Bhat welcomed and Bellalu Bangadi Hipra School teacher Amitananda Hegde conducted the program.
