Belthangadi: Muhammad Hafeel won first place in kata and second place in kumite category in the fifth national level invitational karate championship organized by Kubudo Budokan Karate-do Association Karnataka (R) recently held at Udupi Ajjarakadu Mahatma Gandhi Stadium.
After that, at the Nobel World Records held by Oshokai Martial Arts Academy and Educational Trust at the Vijayanagara Muda Sports Ground in Mysore, around 250 karate students broke a world record of 1500 tiles simultaneously in one minute.
These students will be honored with a memento by the Karate Organization and a certificate from the Nobel World Records Organization. Muhammad Hafil participated in the Mysore Open Karate Championship – 2023 held at Saint Philomena’s College Stadium in Mysore and won the first place in the Kata category and the first place in the Kumite category.
Participating in the 1st Open Karate Championship – 2023 organized by Budokan Karate and Sports Association at St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Sringeri Koppa, Muhammad Hafil bagged first position in Kata category and first position in Kumite category.Muhammad Shahil, son of KM Hanif and Aisha, Kudradka, is a 7th standard student of Sacred Heart English Medium School, Madantyar.He was trained by Karate Director and Head Teacher Shihan Vasant K Bangera Parenki.
