Bantwal: Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik has said that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented a good budget for the economic development of the country and for the benefit of the common man. The increase in the tax exemption limit will benefit the middle class people. The allocation of Rs. 10 Lakh Crore for job creation will lead to a solution to the problem of unemployment, he said.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “Preference for millets, and biofuels is a good part of the Budget. The Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana will open the door of opportunities for artisans. The allocation of Rs. 6,000 Crore for the development of fisheries through the Matsyasampada Yojana Scheme will be a precursor to the progress of the fishing community. It will also lead to solving the problems of fishermen,” he noted.
He praised the Union Budget, saying that the extension of free foodgrains under the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana by one year is a boon for the poor.
