Belthangady: Daya Special School celebrated Christmas on Thursday 23rd December 2022. Vm. who is the director and coordinator of Capuchin Agricultural Service Center as the chairman in this program. Fr. Vinod Mascarenes and co-director Vm. Fr. Rohan Lobo and Dhani Veera Korero and Supreet Prabhu and head teacher Divya T.V. participated as chief guests. And Santa Claus, the focal point of the Christmas celebration, was present on stage.
The program was presided over by Vm. Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas elaborated on the birth of Christ and his simple life, Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, he came to serve the poor and needy people. He said that real service today means service to special children. The service rendered by Jesus Christ is immense.
He said that we will see the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ everywhere. He said that Christmas festival is a festival that spreads the message of love, harmony, peace and brotherhood. By cutting the cake and distributing the sweets, they wished the best of Christmas.
Chief guest Mr. Supreet Prabhu personified his love for children and wished the birthday of Jesus Christ who gave the Christmas message of forgiveness, love, tolerance, coexistence is the breath of life.Special school children performed the birth of Jesus Christ through a metaphorical dance. Prizes were distributed to many children. Ashwani, a fellow teacher, anchored the programme, Dhanya TV. He expressed his thanks.
